Buildfire is an american company based in San Diego, California, which provides a good app maker. However, as you may have seen if you have read our Buildfire review, we do not think that it is the best in town right now. It still lacks important features in our opinion and only allow you to build an app if you speak English… Its powerful social media integration tools are efficient but it’s not enough to be on top of our ranking.
But let’s have a look at Buildfire pricing plans to see if it’s worth a try for you or not. Note that Buildfire pricing plans have evolved quite recently and they now offer three individual plans, and a reseller plan.
There are three individual Buildfire pricing plans: the Premium plan, the Professional plan and the Enterprise plan. But let’s have a look at what differentiates them!
The premium plan allows you to create an app for both iOS, Android and an HTML5 web application (that you can use on a Windows phone for example).
What’s tricky is that you have a limit on the number of downloads of your app: 20 000 downloads, and if you reach that limit you’ll have to go for the next plan. There is also a limit on the number of sessions per month on your app: 50 000 sessions/month, meaning that if you have 20 000 users and they each open the app three times during the month, you’ll have to subscribe to the Professional plan… Same goes for the number of push notifications: 50 000/month.
However, user management and analytics are included.
This plan costs $59/month.
The Professional plan allows you to build apps for iOS, Android and HTML5, but also for iPads and Android tablets.
Other than this, the real difference will be on the limitations we’ve spoken of earlier:
- 100 000 downloads instead of 20 000
- 1 million sessions/month instead of 50 000
- 500 000 push notifications/month instead of 50 000
So basically, if you think that you will have many users and many interactions with them, you would have to choose this Buildfire pricing plan.
With this plan you will also be able to send Geofenced push notifications and RSS based push notifications, which can be quite useful in some cases.
You will also get an access to a control panel to manage roles and permissions.
The Professional plan costs $149/month.
With this Enterprise plan, there is no limit on the number of downloads, sessions or push notifications.
You will also have access to specific “Enterprise plugins” for your app.
However, this plan will be a custom plan so the price will depend on your needs. We advise you to get in touch with them if you’re interested by the Enterprise plan.
The last of the Buildfire pricing plans is the Reseller plan, which allows you to have a white label panel under your own brand and tools to manage your clients and business, as all other reseller plans also provide.
This plan also allows you to build several apps with the same account and subscription.
However, as for the Enterprise plan, this will be a custom plan so you have to contact them and schedule a demo to know how much it would cost you based on your needs, number of clients, etc.
